Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac is the latest version of the famous Microsoft Office Suite redesigned to work seamlessly with Mac OS X.crosoft Office 2011 for Mac consists of Word (word processing) Excel (spreadsheets), PowerPoint (presentations) and Outlook (email and calendar manager) but also comes with Remote Desktop Connection, Microsoft Messenger (and its professional version Communicator) and Document Connect for sharing documents across networks.Among other major improvements, Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac brings a multitude of templates, themes and resources to enrich texts, spreadsheets and presentations.   • Mac OS X version 10.5.8 or later.
  • 1 GB of RAM recommended.
  • 2.5 GB of available hard disk space.
  • HFS+ hard disk format (also known as Mac OS Extended or HFS Plus).
  • DVD drive or connection to a local area network (if installing over a network).
  • 1280 x 768 or higher resolution monitor.
